Cindy Bear is an “over 50” single working Mother with a teenage son, and an award winning singer-songwriter, and Folk/Americana Artist from Jacksonville, Florida. Music is a huge part of her and her son’s life, and she writes about true life experiences that were touched by a song that made it special. In between honing her balancing act of taking care of her son and her career in law enforcement, she manages to find time to perform at Folk and Acoustic Music festivals, coffee houses, house concerts, and various fundraisers all over Florida. Her passion is writing empowering songs about the human condition and Florida history (especially strong women in Florida history), both as a storyteller and a humorist. She blends her experiences and inspirations with positive energy to create these songs (and this blog too!), with hopes they will be a blessing to others. View more posts
